Dave Jernigan's love for the outdoors was cultivated from childhood, as he immersed himself in hunting various game, from ducks and pigs to deer and frogs. Accompanying his father and friends on duck hunts instilled in him the values of hard work and dedication, igniting a lifelong passion.

In 2003, Jernigan earned his Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology and Chemistry from California State University, Sacramento. His admiration for wildlife and dedication to the sport motivated him to volunteer extensively within his community during his formative years. Through activities such as calling clinics, junior hunts, and educational seminars, Dave continues to impart the valuable lessons he learned in his youth while emphasizing the positive impact of education and sportsmanship.

Beyond his passion for the outdoors, Dave Jernigan is a devoted husband, father, and coach. He and his wife, Sheri, reside in West Sacramento, where they raise their son and two daughters, nurturing a love for nature and family values in the next generation.
